Why am I Building StayInScope?
A few years ago, I was freelancing on the side. A client hired me to build a landing page — clean scope, fixed price, two-week timeline.
Three weeks in, I had built the landing page, three extra inner pages, a contact form with custom logic, and two rounds of "small" copy changes. None of it was in the original agreement. All of it felt too awkward to charge for mid-project.
I delivered everything. Invoiced the original amount. And quietly absorbed about 40% extra work because I didn't have a clean way to say "that's outside what we agreed."
StayInScope is the tool I wish I had then. It doesn't say no for you — it just makes the conversation professional, automatic, and impossible to ignore.
